Wealth Consciousness

I often coach clients that are dealing with money issues, or lack of money issues. The subject comes up most days and I refer to this poem that someone gave me years ago. I have no idea who wrote it but I think that what it says is worth much. I have met many people that don’t have a lot of money or possessions but they are truly wealthy. Gratitude is always a sign of someone who knows their own wealth and abundance. Generosity is also something often seen in someone with wealth consciousness. A joy and appreciation of life is also part of it.
I have also met people with loads of money, big houses, all the “things” and yet been so poor in themselves. True poverty consciousness exists often within people with loads of money. The never enough, never happy, never satisfied. Always searching, buying more things, looking for whatever it is that they think will fill that emptiness inside themselves.
The poem says, “Wealth consciousness is so much more than simply having the ability to make money. It’s a mindset that involves seeing life not as a struggle but as a magical adventure where our needs are met with grace and ease. Wealth consciousness is a state of mind, a sense, not of believing, but really knowing that what we need is available to us.”
I believe that happiness is what really matters. True happiness is worth more than money and much rarer.
