Healing in the New Year

Time is passing quicker that it ever has. This is how it feels to me. It doesn't seem so long ago that it was January 2008 and now we are already almost finshed with the month of January 2009.

This means that we don't have time to moan over our problems- we need to take action to make the changes. As more time passes it means more days wasted not living the life that we want to live. Make the changes- they don't have to be big changes, but they can be.

Make a list- what isn't working in your life? What do you wish was different? Are you with the right partner or do you live in dread when you know that person will be coming home? If you can make positive changes within the relationship, then begin now. If you can't and you find yourself in a destructive relationship, then find a way to move on.

If you dislike the work you are doing- do some home-study or find courses near you and learn about something different or find someone to train you as an apprentice. So many things are possible but if you don't go out and look and put effort into it then it will be January 2010 and you will be EXACTLY where you are now.
