Our Healing Centre
The healing centre doesn’t exist yet. It is a work in progress. We would like to purchase a large property somewhere near where we live now in the Surrey Hills area and have it be a place for people to come and to heal. The main building would be a large farmhouse with a large kitchen/dining area. My husband and I would live in the farmhouse and the property will also have many outbuildings that will be converted into lovely, peaceful healing rooms.
There will also be individual cottages on the property where people can have their own private space to stay overnight or for many nights. We will have someone to cook delicious meals for everyone and if a client doesn’t want to see anyone then the meals can be delivered to their cottage at an agreed upon time or they can make something to eat for themselves in their cottage. It will be a place where you can just be, in the quiet and at peace. I have many clients who work in the City and they come to me with stress overload. I’d like to provide a place they can come and escape the stress- a place that will help them relax. I also have many overworked mothers as clients and they need somewhere to go and collect their thoughts and rest. A place to go when life just gets to be too much.
There have been many times when people have come to me hurting and in pain and they receive healing and feel better and they just want to stay and heal. But because I don’t have a place for people to stay, I have to send them away again. I think it would be a huge benefit for clients to have a “safe” and quiet place that they can come and stay and do whatever they need to do to heal.
This will be a place of peace and tranquillity. A place where a person can be completely alone if they want to with complete privacy or they can interact with others. I speak for myself when I say there are times when I just want to go somewhere beautiful and not have to speak to another person for days. To just be with myself, alone. To think, to absorb the quiet, to be with nature, to rest.
There will be different therapies available. Transformational healing, life-coaching, hands-on-healing, different types of massage, and relaxing beauty therapies such as rejuvenation healing therapy and facials.
I have been to many famous spas, health farms, salons and I’ve seen what I would do differently. Each person will be catered to regarding their individual needs. It will be a completely unique experience and when people leave they will be much more relaxed, clear about their futures and ready to take on the world, or not, whichever the case may be. There won’t be any stuck-up therapists. People will be treated with kindness and respect- ALWAYS.
It will be a lovely, safe environment in the country surrounded by fields and forests. There will be plenty of places to walk and to experience the quiet. You will be able to choose what therapies you have and if you just want to hang out and not have any therapies that is also an option.
We are doing everything that we can at this stage of the development. I don’t know when everything will come to fruition but I do know I already have a list of people that want to come and stay. So watch this space.
