Take a hot bath before bed using a chamomile teabag or a few drops of lavender oil.
Sprinkle lavender oil on to your pillow case.
Drink a cup of chamomile tea with a teaspoon of honey.
Try to do at least 30 minutes excercise each day, at least five or six hours before bedtime, not just before.
Keep paper next to your bed and if worrying about something write it down and do something about it in the morning.
Try reading in bed just before sleeping.
Keep your bedroom for sleeping, not computers or television.
Invest in a good bed. Also, good quality sheets and comforter.
Coffee, tea and soft drinks after 4pm can interfere with sleep.
Avoid a large, rich meal in the evening.
